Hari Mirch Chicken Plus

There are many variations of Hari Mirch Chicken, including chili chicken, Chinese-style chili chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch, and Bengali chili chicken.
This dish is extremely popular in the Indian subcontinent but has not gained widespread popularity in the Western world due to its heat. As a result, very few restaurants offer it. However, if you ever come across it on an Indian restaurant menu and can handle the spiciness, I highly recommend giving it a try! When made from scratch, it is incredibly flavorful, and we’ve aimed to capture that authentic taste using our Middle India Co. spice blends. While this blend works wonderfully for this recipe, it is versatile enough to pair with other proteins, such as scallops or shrimp, especially when served with a sweet tamarind sauce. The dish can also be made with chicken breasts or legs, depending on your preference.
